SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Cambrios Technologies Corporation, the leader in silver nanowire-based solutions for the transparent conductor markets, today announced that Dr. Rahul Gupta, senior director of business development at Cambrios, will present at Lighting Japan 2015: 7th LED/OLED Lighting Technology Expo on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 in Tokyo. Dr. Gupta’s session is part of the “High-efficient OLED Materials and Its Key Devices” track. This session will discuss silver nanowires as the ultimate electrode for OLEDs, enabling flexible, transparent and cost effective OLED lighting over indium tin oxide (ITO) and metal mesh. Following the session, Gupta and his colleague, Takashi Murayama, Cambrios’ country manager for Japan, will be available for further conversations around the conference and how best to work with Cambrios.
WHO: Rahul Gupta, senior director of business development at Cambrios Technologies
WHAT: Rahul Gupta’s presentation “Silver Nanowire Electrodes: Enabling Flexible, Transparent and Cost Effective OLED Lighting,” will discuss the benefits of silver nanowires as transparent electrodes for OLED lighting, including high conductivity, improved uniformity of emission color, angle dependence of color and improved yields. In addition, Gupta will address the cost savings that can be achieved using solution processable silver nanowires compared to the competing ITO or metal-mesh based solutions. Gupta also will demonstrate real-world use cases of silver nanowires being used to make efficient large size OLED lighting tiles and OPV solar cells.
